Our Little Family ("the app," "we," "us") is a family organization tool for scheduling, chores, goals, and rewards. This page explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and how you can control it.
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from that provider, used only to identify your account and connect it to your family's data. If you use "Hide My Email" with Sign in with Apple, we receive the private relay address Apple provides instead of your real email.
The information you enter into the app itself — family member names, profile photos, chores, calendar events, goals, rewards, lists, and countdowns — is stored so the app can function. Profile photos are stored as part of your family's data and are not shared outside your family's account.
If you use the weather feature, your device's approximate location is sent to a third-party weather service (Open-Meteo) to retrieve current conditions. We do not store this location ourselves.
If you connect an external calendar (Google, iCloud, Outlook, or Yahoo) by pasting a calendar link, we fetch event titles, dates, and times from that link to display them in the app. We do not access anything else in your calendar account.
Information is used solely to provide the app's features to your family: syncing your schedule, chores, and rewards across the devices your family signs into. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your family's data is only accessible to accounts signed in under your family's shared family code. We do not share it with other families or third parties, other than the limited, one-way requests described above (weather lookup, calendar import) needed to power those specific features.
Our Little Family is intended for use by parents and guardians who set up and manage profiles for their children as part of a family account. It is not directed at children for independent, unsupervised sign-up or use, and children do not create their own accounts. A parent or guardian controls the family's account and its data at all times.
Family data is stored in a database associated with your family's account. Reasonable measures are taken to protect it, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
You can edit or delete chores, events, photos, and other data directly in the app at any time. You can also delete your account directly in the app from Account Settings, which permanently removes your account and, if you're the last account on your family, your family's data as well. You can also contact us using the information below to request deletion.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
